    Popped into the @UniOfExeter #RepairCafe with the lamp my Gran brought back from her honeymoon in Italy. The switch was making a rather alarming crackling noise when I switched it off and on, and on investigation turned out to be full of some icky black crud which I of course photographed like the horrible little gremlin that I am. The switch turned out to be beyond repair so I was given instructions on which one to order as a replacement and how to install it and will be giving that a go when it arrives.

          @afewbugs @artcollisions

          Ohh definitely is !

          Glad to see that it should be fixable. And happy repairing! It always feel really good when I fix something myself, and I'd imagine that something like this lamp would be even more so given the (emotional and historical) value
