@lkundrak Robotron. Einfach nicht kleinzukriegen.

@kolya are you suggesting it looks flattering? that was not my intent. to me it looks like a place i wouldn't want to be at. you can smell the exhaust from the photo
what i see is reminiscent of what i've seen in bratislava in 90's -- neglect, shoddy workmanship. urban development driven by morons, cheap architecture repeated everywhere. looks decayed for a 100 years, makes you go through existential crisis everyday.
the general uglyness and lack of ads make the few nice point really shine tho! -- that is obviously the sign on the roof! (i remember paper tape being still in use in 90's so, it i guess it wouldn't even have been out of date at the day)
@kolya there's a building like this in brno
it was supposed to be very tall, because comrades loved tall and shiny, however they didn't love ground surveys, so it started tilting after like four stories, so now it's a tad short

in there you had the "usual" ostblock elevators with fake-woodish cladding which always felt a little flimsy when going up

@lkundrak it doesn't look flattering to us now. but back then it would have been used as an example of the socialist future. the reality was that the country still often looked war torn in the 1980s.
