we regret to inform you that Devon Price signing on to that "trans rules of engagement" social contract with Tara Knight was not just a coincidence, and that he's now defending the "puppygirl" essays

@YKantRachelRead Price is such a disappointment

@truthaddictvt it sucks because he's one of the rare trans guys with a platform who's explicitly outspoken about transfeminine issues, and then he has to go ruin it by doing things like defending steaming ableist piles of ChatGPT output

@YKantRachelRead I feel like I'm failing to recall so much context here

@elexia a few months back, around when accusations were flying about regarding Tara's alleged involvement in a sex trafficking ring, it came out that she and a bunch of the other alleged participants in that ring had signed on to a bizarre social contract that essentially read as an agreement for the trans micro-celebrities signing it to not talk shit about one another. Devon was one of the other people who had signed it.
this past week, Tara (of course, vis-a-vis an LLM) put out a series of awful, ableist, transmisogynist essays on the topic of how "puppygirls" - written as an exaggerated stereotype of disabled transfems - are a burden on others around them and should be "dumped." Devon put out an essay today on his substack defending Tara and calling the essays a commentary on "white woman victimization brain."

@elexia and like, that framing in and of itself is extremely ableist, because "disabled people have victim mentalities and should Just Try Harder for the benefit of abled people" is one of the most pervasive forms of ableism.

@YKantRachelRead@treehouse.systems @elexia@twoot.site I have only read one 'puppygirl essay', and it was pretty transmisogynistic, ablest, and felt, more than a little, as if she was grasping at virtue and authority. Are there more?

@YKantRachelRead@treehouse.systems @elexia@twoot.site Ok. WTF did I just read...? Some kind of basic-ass Marxist analysis the doesn't contend with the failures of Marx's thoughts in a post-war, post-feminist world? All to try to make the author seem thoughtful by trying to politicize her opinions into having some meaning beyond an Internet screed? Is this what passes for thoughtful writing today??

Chatgpt: write a screed about my trans puppygirl ex-roommate using primary source material from Marx, and some basic assumptions about feminism. Produce at least 7000 words.
all "written" in the past few days. I think the word count is approaching 30k now across all of them
