https://www.bungie.net/7/en/News/Article/d2_may_21_2026@thermia i haven’t really played d2 since the final shape, but i was a huge destiny nerd since the first game. im kinda sad to see that the d2 era is coming to an end, but at the same time, it’s been long overdue ever since they started removing content with new expansions (rip red war, my beloved)
i highly doubt they’ll just end the destiny franchise at this point tho, they are hopefully just gearing up to do d3 to get more hype into the series and refresh the engine and whatnot (and maybe add linux support
)
