      @newsguyusa Wars have no theaters. A handful of well armed Iranian operatives in the US could do a huge amount of damage to US refining and oil distribution systems. This could just be the oil business being dangerous as usual or it could be a "we too have weapons" demonstration to make Trump back off.

        @Infoseepage @newsguyusa Refinery explosions are unfortunately common; the Chevron refinery in the northeast SF Bay Area has had several. Lots of very flammable stuff tends to do that. While an attack is possible, it would be wise to wait for details before assuming anything.

          Putting this into context: The Valero Port Arthur refinery is one of the country's most significant energy assets with a reported capacity of nearly 400,000 bpd processing heavy, sour crude oils into high-value products such as gasoline, diesel and jet fuel.
