Don't know why but I've been leaning more and more into monochrome recently. It has weight and serious feels... and it works especially well with grim subjects. I am grim.

Anyway, here's a picture of my least favorite building in San Francisco: the Nancy Pelosi Federal Building. The building is truly awful but fun to photograph.

This is the building's side profile - the least ugly side. The back of the building, not shown here, looks like one of the sand people from Star Wars Episode IV. And the courtyard behind the building has all the charm of a world war bunker.

That said, if you really like brutalism or hate architecture, this is the building for you.
