              @Life_is @randahl Authoritarian regimes are always hotbeds of corruption. Not by choice, but the nature of the regime requires corruption as method of generating and rewarding loyalty.

              There is a very interesting book by Frank Bajohr about the corruption in the Third Reich "Parvenüs und Profiteure". It is easy to recognize the similarities...
