The hospital ship ""Jutlandia"" (8,500 gross tons) one of Denmark's contributions to United Nations aid in Korea. It took the shipyards several months to turn the former transatlantic liner into a modern, floating hospital. The cargo holds were turned into hospital wards with a total capacity of 200 patients; with additional emergency berths, the ship can take up to 400 in-patients. Three main clinics were installed with two full operating theatres. There is also a dental clinic, X-ray laboratory, dispensaries, library, etc. The total medical and nursing staff is 100, and a crew of 160 keeps the ship going. @notsoloud @randahl that is part of the misconception. Inflation is not directly linked to creating money. It only rises if the spending power can not be met by what a market can provide.
So as long as there is enough supply in hospital ships, inflation remains low.
Also, raising taxes removes that money from the system and then it’s gone. You literally cannot spend tax dollars.

If USA/Louisiana send a hospital ship to Greenland, the EU should send one to Louisiana in return.If we're lucky, it starts a new race among all the major blocks about who could provide the best health care for each others citizens.
It is of course less efficient than land based hospitals, but still a huge step forward from a classical arms race.
@notsoloud @randahl we can send an oil tanker to Cuba and ask for some Cuban assistance with the health care issue. They have more experience with 3rd world health care issues
