    Spoke with someone at the VA Clinic this morning whose husband is in the National Guard is has been placed on standby for possible activation.

    And she joked with "Well since Iran decided to start bombing everyone, I guess he has to get activated 😅"

    Iran... decided?

    These folks are deep into "alternate" lines of "truth.". If you want to know why so many people support Trump, it's because they don't know what he's doing. They are being fed propaganda and believe every bit of it.

    (not everyone, and no an excuse... just hearing it from people's own mouth blew me away....)

      @tinker

      It's not so much that they are fed propaganda and then they believe this stuff.

      It's that they have their preferred world view and then seek out propaganda to support it, grasping at straws like a drowning man.

      Propaganda isn't designed to convince. It's designed to support and synchronize the already converted. It's sheet music for the hymns they sing together.

        @DaveMWilburn @tinker interesting line- I was at two ‘christian services’ in Florida a while back and the hymns were all emotional but never really reflected what Christ did so much as how they were to respond to the words.

          There's a growing body of research around the ritual theory of propaganda.

          Just a moment...

            @tinker I don't believe that anymore. I believe it's actual dishonesty. They know full well that we're the ones doing the bombing, but saying otherwise is what they think is the thing that should be said. To like support our side or whatever... Some even believe you HAVE to say that stuff, and that if you say the other stuff, the true stuff...you are a bad person.

            Very few, if any, are actually so stupid and uninformed to believe such a statement is true as in reflects any kind of "reality"

                A video about People not knowing the same things as us, causing confusion. I have to constantly remind myself that I took the Red Pill and broke out of the Christo-fascist propaganda cycle.

                    I wondered why things seemed quiet on here,very little from the #usa side of things. Maybe they think we are making it all up.

                    Trump is insane and is compromised by video recorded by #epstein for #putin. IRAN is trying to defend itself. Trump and #israel are the aggressors. #Netanyahu is a #moscow asset dictator

                    What Senator Whitehouse had to say in his 47 minute speech two days ago about the #trump - #epstein #spy-ring pedophile cover up?

                      @tinker @DaveMWilburn I think this is correct, but that it’s also important to note people seek out the propaganda that supports the specific thing they want, but then all the other propaganda comes with it, gradually influencing their overall worldview and shifting it into line. Indoctrinating them to a worldview by starting with one specific subject (if they weren’t there already, of course).
