@tadbithuman @jalefkowit like in the past when housing was expensive so the govt built tons of houses - entire communities with schools and shops - to help make homes affordable!

We could do with repaving some roads around here, too. But definitely, we need grid upgrades and solar. Being energy indepent would mean better national security.

The wild thing about a 50% budget increase for the Department of Defense is that even before the increase, the U.S. was already spending more on its military than the next nine biggest military-spending countries put together. America's military has a lot of problems, but a lack of money was not one of them
