Wolt couriers are striking here in Denmark. It is significant, because workers are using the algorithmic control against itself - by continually rejecting orders, they drive up the price. Fediverse, I know we have a lot of skilled tech people here. Can we explore together more options on how people might use a system like that against itself?

I good first step to explore the system is to simply become a courier yourself of course! They have an identity verification process. I'm curious who takes care of that or if it is in-house. Basically, who are you giving your personal information to. Anyone can decipher?

@malte I remember a Swedish right-wing organisation requesting support on a fundraising platform; activists learned that every transaction cost - maybe 1 SEK? I do not remember the numbers - and had thousands of people sending them half that. The way it was covered in the article I read, this was only closed after thousands in losses.

@mjj I wonder if you could do something similar in this case - solidarity sign-ups with the couriers in a way that might drive up the prices too
