    @cyb3rrunn3r @energisch_ @Bundesregierung Das kommt noch oben drauf. Ausserdem: die Balkonbrüstung rottet vor sich hin. Mehr als meine Blumenkästen traue ich der nicht mehr zu.

      @NixNick Jemand sagte @madeindex dass die Regierung Balkonsolar in einigen Städten fast komplett finanziert. Hab geschrieben, dass sie billig sind und fast überall zum Einsatz kommen können, im Gesamtvolumen Gigawatt an fossiler Energie einsparen.

        They don't. They received support at times. But when I bought my balcony power plant in 2023, the city's funding pool was already empty.

        @byggvir @madeindex @NixNick @energisch_ @Bundesregierung The problem with the UK proposal, according to electricians, is that there are no UK standards applicable to such kit. So, unless something is done about it, anybody can sell any old dangerous crap, and anyone can then buy and use it.

          @madeindex

          Some municipalies actually do, not designed as „completely“, but with flat amounts, and if you have the right conditions and Shop smartly, you could end up in Break even extremely fast.

          Actually the Panels aren’t the biggest driver on the Shopping list; mostly, mounting is it.

            @madeindex not completely, but you get really cheap deals and almost everywhere is possible. It's a small impact, but together, millions, it's gigawatts that are not needed in fossil fuels. @NixNick @Bundesregierung

              Leider sind viele Bürgerwerke, was Anteilshöhe und Bindefristen angeht, schon eher was für jene, die es sich leisten können.

              (Mal davon ab, dass ich persönlich ein Investment davon abhängig machen würde, ob zeitgleich und möglichst am Standort auch Speicher entstehen, was leider selten ist.)

              @Saupreiss Speicherausbau hängt auch davon ab, wie viele Stromabnehmer*innen sie haben und wie viel Geld zur Verfügung steht. Aber es gibt auch Anbieter wie polarstern, greenpeace energy, lichtblick, die auch in erneuerbare Energien investieren und die mensch als Kund*in unterstützen kann. Auch viele Stadtwerke sind gut aufgestellt mit erneuerbarem Ausbau. Also gucken, wo was geht. Hauptsache, so bald wie möglich ganz raus aus den Fossilen @Bundesregierung

                      Mit fortschreitendem Ausbau ist es erstens ein wirtschaftliches Risiko (viel Strom für lau erzeugen ist weniger spannend, als den danach zu verhökern), die meist potente Netzanbindung kann man auch gut nutzen, um „überschüssigen“ Sonnenstrom in den Abend zu retten, dafür sind die Spreads hoch genug. Netzdienlich, lukrativ, dezentral und Gaskillend.

                          Yeah, the people of the world would do it themselves if the bureaucracy, taxes and legal weren't so high & difficult.

                          Localized smart grids for electricity & heat (e.g. from factories etc.) could easily solve the energy problems.

                          But it would also reduce dependance, not sure that is in the interest of our Elites...

                                        @madeindex @energisch_ @NixNick @Bundesregierung That’s wrong. But they pay themselves within 1- 3 years.

                                          @energisch_ When you travel the middle east, you would imagine solar panels everywhere right? Nowhere to be seen. @Bundesregierung @NixNick

                                          @madeindex @energisch_ @Bundesregierung @NixNick Same in Croatia in 2024. Really strange. All the AC in buildings suck electric power during summer, and could be completely powered by solar panels. But there was just nothing.
