@lewd Right. You have to choose Russia or Iran to pass from Europe to Asia.

Hard to tell which is worse now.

@lewd @jon They should be used to this - the Polish machines wouldn't sell tickets for the Rzepin - Frankfurt(Oder) part for a very long time too (though I think that was eventually fixed a few years ago). There's still pricing differences - for regional trains, it used to be much cheaper to buy the over-border addition separately than as a single ticket e.g. Zielona GΓ³ra - Frankfurt(Oder).

@skolima @lewd everyone who crosses that border regularly is used to the mess. But it doesn’t make it right!

@lewd @jon Well at least some things improve. Back before COVID, I used to take that train every weekend. Had to help multiple travellers as the conductors only spoke Polish and would fine anyone without a paper ticket. Ugh.

@lewd @jon While there was rail-replacement service there last year, the driver looked at me in disbelief for trying to buy a ticket for a rail-replacement service xD

@lewd@zug.network outskirts of Vilnius is a bit of a strech lol, it's closer to Kaunas for basically everything

Also, sad that it's the 630 instead of 730 that it should be..
