*sigh* Both bike-batteries (one worn, the other well-worn) crap out on me repeatedly under load, which is exactly where I’d need them. And to get them going again it even requires physically unlocking the battery, un-plugging and replugging it again. Very annoying.
What’s even more annoying is that if I want a new battery, I’ll have to buy the bike that comes with it…

️@fm_volker I think standards for ebike-batteries (and the likes) should be a no-brainer for EU regulation. That it in so many cases is impossible to replace the batteries with new ones is a huge problem.
If there was a standard (like with AAA-batteries etc.) we could avoid a lot of waste (and thereby also reduce the need for minerals etc.).Please, @EUCommission do your thing like with the mobile chargers.
