    @FlockOfCats I happen to have two myself. The bottom one is made out of aluminum and weighs like 2 kilos lmao. Also please note the video gets erotic towards the end.

      Does anyone have a recommendation for a mechanical keyboard?

      1) Preferably good value, rather than super expensive
      2) Wired
      3) Mostly for typing, occasional gaming
      4) Gaudy LED welcome, not required
      5) Numpad included
      6) Easily obtainable in Japan

      @FlockOfCats
      I just picked up this Blitzwolf BW-KB1 from HardOff for 1000 yen. RGB everywhere (controllable and disablable). USB-C port for wired use or charging. Can be paired with up to 5 different BT devices. No drivers needed. I've tested wired connectivity to Android, PC, Raspberry Pi.

        @FlockOfCats are Keychron keyboards available in Japan? I’ve had several. No issues with them and they are inexpensive

          Ok I think I’m gonna go with EPOMAKER TH108 JIS,

          Now I have to decide creamy jade switch (clacky) or sea salt silent (quiet)

          Is it just a noise thing or does clacky “feel” a lot more satisfying to tap?

                @FlockOfCats i suggest to get the green light from MsFoC though. if she is to spend any time in the same.... building... while you work, she probably will be affected....

                i know of gamer dudes who have been disallowed to play at nights by their family members

                  @FlockOfCats I've had my coolermaster storm keyboard for ages now, both my coworkers use them, I bought my wife one she uses every day as well. Very well built, very responsive, still as good as the day I bought it. Also, and I cannot emphasize this enough: removable USB cable.

                    @FlockOfCats visit https://shop.yushakobo.jp/en if you’re in/near Tokyo - at very least you can try the feeling of a bunch of different switches and keycaps, and see some cool kits (but I guess you’re looking for prebuilt - they’re more the DIY end).
