Finished Gangnam B-side (very violent but SO worth it for Ji Chang Wook alone) and am deciding which #kdrama to watch next. My list is SO long but I feel like another JCW drama that's a bit lighter than Gangnam B-side. So I'm thinking either Backstreet Rookie or Melting Me Softly. Can anyone recommend one or the other or are they equally good?

@writerchristina I don't recommend Backstreet Rookie. I really didn't like it at all.

If you haven't watched Lovestruck In The City, it's my (and reportedly his) favourite JCW role.
Gangnam B-Side and Empress Ki are both great, but overly violent.

@writerchristina Melting Me Softly is quite enjoyable. I didn't like the end, but overall it's a better choice than Backstreet Rookie. I couldn't get past the first episodes with the latter.
The cherry on top of MMS is a very hot kiss scene. You can watch it just for that! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ”ฅ

@writerchristina I have seen Backstreet Rookies a long time ago. For a run-of-the-mill RomCom it was pretty good, I enjoyed it a lot.
I cannot compare it to Melting Me Softly, as I haven't seen that one.
