    What's funny is that none of these flower types are growing in the legitimate flower bed. Just these two in the entire yard. Every Spring we get a few surprises.
    My wife keeps a relatively organized garden, but she always takes care not to disturb the volunteers.

      What's funny is that none of these flower types are growing in the legitimate flower bed. Just these two in the entire yard. Every Spring we get a few surprises.
      My wife keeps a relatively organized garden, but she always takes care not to disturb the volunteers.

      I like those plants with a mind of their own.
      I have some Summer Savoury herbs in the garden. They self-seed, but never ever in the herb garden, only in the gravel path beside it, even under the garden bench. I guess they like it dry and hot.

          @ericphelps Roses: if you choose the right soil, water me regularly, not too much sun, but also not too little, if you cut the weeds, pamper me and show a lot of love, I will give you flowers.
