    It’s not just online streaming or the cost of going to the movies that is killing movie theaters, but the marketing department too.

    For example, months ago, I heard of the new Star Wars movie. But that was months ago, and I have not seen a single advertisement since then. You should forgive yourself if you didn’t know that Star Wars came out this weekend.

    The marketing department for movies has been like this for a while now.

      @Linux I find that Disney has been especially terrible at promoting their movies, and then they bitch and complain when nobody shows up. It’s been like that since Bob Iger first started as CEO.
