    Discovering you can use different launchers on your Android smart TV is a game changer. Removing all the bloat and ads is such an improvement. I was starting to hate a TV I paid way too much money for ..

      @64bithero Does it affect performance in any way? These screens struggle as it is just moving between user profiles...

      Once I heard that a buttom remapping tool for the remote would make performance on the TV worse because it has to be continuously active or something, I didn't dare touch even a third-party launcher.

        @Metal_Link not with the two launchers I’ve tried. But that may change depending upon the hardware. I have a 3 year old Sony Bravia TV. For me
        The regular launcher is far more sluggish then the two I’ve tried.

        From what I’ve been told at4k is a little lighter but it requires a second app for full tv take over. The one I’m full timing is called Project Ivy which might be more intense.

        I’d say gave one or both a try it’s easy to switch back
