@energisch_ @Boerps währscheinlich Britischenglisch auch...definitv auf Nordenbritischenglisch...

@energisch_

One of my employees just decided to explain the XZ Utils backdoor to me while I repeatedly told him that I had read all about it at the time it was discovered. While we were having this ‘conversation’, this book was sitting in full view on my desk:
@katemorley I don't know why I am still astonished at things like this...umm....he's your employee and still thinks....yeah. So exhausting.
I was once mansplained my own talk at a big event, moments after stepping off the stage.
There were a couple other speakers, and he somehow didn't recognize me as the person giving my talk. Even though I was the only speaker who was a woman.
He kept repeating my own talk to me. Even though I was there in the room, let alone having just given the talk.

@katemorley At the time, it was the most bizarre of mansplaining I'd ever experienced. It still boggles my brain.

@katemorley I'm sorry to say I have a bad habit of explaining things that excite me to anyone who stays still long enough even if they know more about it than me. I might of been an excitable Labrador in a past life.

@katemorley Should have gently moved it as a hint.
@tripplehelix You're confident she didn't?

@katemorley You should have insisted on him explaining the book to you.

Was wird das? Ein Schwanzvergleich? -

@kristinHenry @katemorley It's boggling *my* brain and I'm just sitting here reading about it.

I read the post-content and half expected the post to have been authored by Rebecca Solnit until I noted that @katemorley wrote it

@katemorley @neko He had to get it through his thick skull by explaining it to someone else.
