      Hello idea.soup, show me how to “process” 100 passengers in 5 min. And that’s just a rather small plane.

        @MostlyHarmless I generally enjoy getting to the airport two hours early, because it gives me time to relax with a coffee and a book before boarding the plane. But then, as a dedicated contrarian, I'm generally looking for a way to carve out a couple of hours during which I can be safely non-productive!

          @hbowie @MostlyHarmless plus, if it's traveling for business, these hours (and commute to airport) can be counted as part of the travel time, which means a slightly more compensation 😀

            @MostlyHarmless

            the other half of those two hours is because some dude in seat 12B once tried lighting his shoelaces.

              @MostlyHarmless @Aaronvegh Also they turned arriving way too early into a profit center, by opening paid lounges to pass the time.
