@paco Back in the days the fuel gauge was placed either to the left or to the right (switching place with the temperature gauge), depending on which side the fuel filler was. The little arrow did away with this practice, but instead manufacturing had two types of fuel gauges to deal with.

@paco I knew that moment would be popular, I mean....what the hell?!

@h3artbl33d
?? Tell a guy who wrote a book on BSD 20 years ago to abandon Linux? I’ve been using FreeBSD longer than a lot of people have been using computers.Not trying to turn it into a dick-sizing contest, but I genuinely don’t get the point of that terse message.
-
@h3artbl33d no worries. It’s one of those times where the message was so short and we don’t know each other, so the tone didn’t come through. I can see the joke now.
And the book is 20 years old. Just as FreeBSD 5 was coming out. there isn’t much to learn there. Don’t waste your money or time.

All I meant about the breath of fresh air is that I’ve been doing disk partitioning the hard way on FreeBSD so long (even sometimes using sysinstall to avoid the CLI tools) that this was super easy and nice.
