I’ve never heard of them. Do you (or anyone else seeing this) know of any books telling their stories? I know there are books about the whole Bletchley Park endeavor, so if any of those include these folks I can start with those, of course. Any recommendations? Thanks.

There's a whole museum to them in Poznań, the Enigma Cipher Centre. The reason that you've never heard of them is that they were given (forced to take?) top-secret jobs behind the Iron Curtain after the war. -
