So astute of you! Indeed after the late late lunch of
at Los Parados (see 
) and then the long walkabout with some friends, a bit of rest in the apartment - we the headed out to the nearby outpost of Taqueria Don Frank.

Oh wow just absolutely friendly service and outstanding food, table sauces to start us off and we got some al pastor #tacos Kid2 got the suadero quesadilla (I tasted a bit - terrific with the oozy queso inside)
They have fresh agua frescas/juice drinks

Los Rogacianos de la Roma turned out to be a street stand next to a big tree. Some terrific suadero tacos and al pastor was delicious - campechano as well.

Saw a lady making something with masa on the griddle - confirmed it was sopes & tried one (campechano; mixed grill) shared with partmer. Kid2 managed only ½ a bistec torta there even if she was happy with the burnt crisp cheese in it.
Hopefully after this late eat, sleep won't be an issue for the 8:30am head out tomorrow

Ending that dry spell with Sunday morning barbacoa tacos from specialist I was alerted to at dinner last night. They set up Sundays only. I got there just before 11am (gets super crowded past Noon) and fortunate it's less than 2 blocks away from our rental. Very very good barbacoa - I only got the regular/soft/suaves not the deep-fried/dorados, and opted for salsa rojo (+ a bit of the pasilla).

Three days since our last #Tacos
Ending that dry spell with Sunday morning barbacoa tacos from specialist I was alerted to at dinner last night. They set up Sundays only. I got there just before 11am (gets super crowded past Noon) and fortunate it's less than 2 blocks away from our rental. Very very good barbacoa - I only got the regular/soft/suaves not the deep-fried/dorados, and opted for salsa rojo (+ a bit of the pasilla).
