@lawyersgunsnmoney I'm guessing it will cost a little bit more but you'll also know that it's in great condition...I definitely took a risk on mine, but it worked out!

Edit: I say that to say I imagine even if it costs a bit more the peace of mind might be worth it.

@kaiser_franz when I was transcribing for an author and a court reporter as a young mom I got my hands on a gorgeous electric typewriter that was like going from a donkey to a bullet train! I made good money then, because my speed quadrupled lolol my brilliant cerise-colored Selectric. I miss her still.

@Lizette603_23 I can only imagine what that switch is like - I’m pretty fast on a good mechanical computer keyboard, so I’m experiencing it in reverse when I’m on the typewriter
