Beware of unnecessary warnings.
@kibcol1049 But some warnings are necessary

-
@kibcol1049 Morning Col

I barely take note of necessary ones!
I ignored a height restriction once, gave myself a right bang on the noggin on the doorframe!
Have a good one my friend!

@MAJ1 Ouch! I have a tree on my lawn with a big low branch, and despite knowing I need to duck under it when I mow the lawn, I always ALWAYS bang my head on it! Just stupidity I suppose. You'd think after 20 years it would knock some sense into me - nope! Morning Bud.

@kibcol1049 Perhaps get a wooden duck & hang it off the offending branch as a reminder.
Hope youβve had a good day mon ami!

@MAJ1 That's a quacking good idea! Thanks.

@kibcol1049 @MAJ1 Donβt feel too bad, I can do you one stupider, I have driven my tractor under a tree branch too low for that activity, damn near decapitating myself in the process, multiple times. Like, I know itβs there, I know itβs too low, and yet my brain says βna, we can duckβ. I cannot limbo and make the tractor go. Sometimes, I worry about my decision making skills.

οΈ@MAJ1 @MissConstrue You have my sympathy. 1 summer my bonce scar never healed, as soon as it started to heal, I clouted it again. π«£

οΈ@MissConstrue @kibcol1049 Morning both

I had an inspiration overnight β¦ put the relevant trees on stilts!
Think about it β¦ you know it makes sense!!

@oheso @kibcol1049 Morning Oheso

I got hit by a car as a child & cracked my skull, doctors think thats when my brains leaked out!

-
@oheso @kibcol1049 No they just shone a torch thru the crack β¦ nope nothing in there!

@MAJ1 @kibcol1049 I honestly think my logic every spring is that surely the branch is higher now, than it was before. And indeed it may be, but itβs the prairie, stuff doesnβt grow like I was in the tropics. In the tropics, that tree would be a canopy, not hanging around menacing me at hobbit height for years at a time.

@MissConstrue @MAJ1 According to my extensive research (2 mins on Google), after initial growth the branches stay at the same height, but get thicker. Who knew? certainly not my head!

@kibcol1049 @MissConstrue Iβm telling you - stilts are the way to go!
I read that too. Flipping trees, you would think they would make more effort!

@MissConstrue @MAJ1 @kibcol1049 this is correct, trees grow out rather than up from the base. Non-tree things that look like trees are liable to be different though
