SCIENCE!
NOTE: Unfortunately I don't know who drew this lovely thing.
Also, it's just a gag. Don't overthink it.
-
Unless “raptors” is a constant of 1 in which case it the formula can be simplified.
-
SCIENCE!
@StefanEJones the "raptor" cancels out on the right side
-
@StefanEJones need t-shirt now.

-
SCIENCE!
@StefanEJones I knew it! Velociraptors are bastards
-
SCIENCE!
-
SCIENCE!
@StefanEJones (me, thinking too hard about this joke): no, the raptors cancel out like that, it has to be (distance/time)*raptor
Though the possibility of a timeraptor is terrifying

SCIENCE!
@StefanEJones A colleague said it was incorrect and claims to have fixed it

@lunch @StefanEJones SoVelociraptor = Distanceraptor / Timeto balance out the sides of the equation? -
SCIENCE!
@StefanEJones double tap:

-
@lunch @StefanEJones So
Velociraptor = Distanceraptor / Timeto balance out the sides of the equation?@hypolite @StefanEJones or distanceraptorraptor
-
@StefanEJones A colleague said it was incorrect and claims to have fixed it

@ScriptFanix @StefanEJones what if timeraptor is also a vector
-
@ScriptFanix @StefanEJones what if timeraptor is also a vector
@efi @ScriptFanix @StefanEJones timeraptor: shut up math nerd!
And then it eats you -
@lunch @StefanEJones So
Velociraptor = Distanceraptor / Timeto balance out the sides of the equation?@hypolite @lunch @StefanEJones or
distance(raptor)^2 -
@StefanEJones A colleague said it was incorrect and claims to have fixed it

@ScriptFanix @StefanEJones surely velociraptor = dpositionraptor/dt is even correcterer
-
SCIENCE!
@StefanEJones Distanceraptor is implied by spaceraptor https://www.latimes.com/books/jacketcopy/la-et-jc-hugos-puppies-20160427-snap-htmlstory.html

@ScriptFanix @StefanEJones what if timeraptor is also a vector
Cartesian vectors don't form a group under multiplication* so division isn't defined.
*either kind. They are not closed under the dot product and there is no cross product identity.

@dogfox @ScriptFanix @StefanEJones aw, beans...
-
SCIENCE!
Being picky:
Velociraptor = d (Distanceraptor) / dt
(Works when Distanceraptor isn't constant)
