    I called Toyota to schedule an appointment and I'm 99.9% sure it was an AI at the other end.

    I really hesitated complaining about it but I just wanted to get it over with.

    I don't see how it is better than a simple "press the button" menu.

    It's actually worse because psychologically you feel you have to pretend talking to someone while it IS nothing more than an automated menu with options.

    Next time I've to deal with this crap I'll know better than say "have a good day".

      As soon as I know it's automated, I switch to key words or immediate "talk to agent"
