@reesecommabill i don’t know about you, but lately I’ve started thinking that there might be some things happening that might make one question the integrity of the FIFA peace prize.

@lilleffie @reesecommabill that award’s reputation was unblemished in the past!

Some might say because there was nothing there to be blemished, but I think that’s picking nits.

@reesecommabill FIFA dug its own grave with that "Peace Prize". MAGA cultists are not well known for attending soccer games. And it's clear to any foreign tourist/fan with a brain that Trump's USA is no place they want to go for fun. Hell I don't want to be here.
Soccer fans (we will never call it football of course) are better served by local leagues or among friends or school teams.

                                    Violence begets violence.

The French Revolution led to perpetual war under a dictator; Napoleon.

The Russian Revolution led to mass murder & famine under despot Stalin.

Millions starved to death under Mao and his "People's Revolution".

Far better to work for ousting their proxy and seek reforms.

                                    It's a marathon, not a sprint.
                                    Avoid "easy" solutions.

The lessons learned from Assad & Yanukovich, make them flee to Moscow & irrelevance.
