    this happens most prominently on Bazzite?
    it's completely random and rebooting always fixes it.

      @k Bazzite has a “power profile” that can severely affect performance. I have accidentally switched it off of high performance and it causes horrendous stuttering on any game, including the likes of Left 4 Dead on my RTX 4090. The setting is normally located for me in the task bar near the system controls. It’s probably also in the system settings. Take a look at what that’s set to and see if changing it can help you

        @BmeBenji That was my first idea but she has already set the power profile to Performance. I also thought it'd be the GPU throttling but I couldn't see it do that in LACT.

        Very curious on if anyone else is having these issues.
