#trump says #iran 'excursion' is for 'the other parts of the world' presumably because he could not come up with a single US benefit. How is that going?
    *Biggest oil disruption in history
*Worst energy crisis since the 70s (4 hr gas lines remember?)
*Mideast cut oil production: no way to move it
*Fertilizer plastics aluminum production stalls lack of energy raw materials
*Bangladesh closes universities to conserve energy
    *Gas stations run out worldwide
    We still winning?

I was just learning to drive in the 70s (driven by the 1973 OPEC oil embargo and the 1979 Iranian Revolution) with the gas crisis was in full swing. My parents who both worked would have me fill up their cars. One saturday did both in one day. Though there were stations within half a mile of our house, it took me 9 hours to get both filled. Sterio blaring, high as balls; actually a pretty fun day.

NOT saying we should do that again, but I think it is coming nonetheless.

@Crystal_Fish_Caves Oh yes, those were the days.

People with nearly fully tanks sitting in queues for hours to buy petrol to top up the last little bit.

        With their engines running.

Thus ending up having to buy far more petrol.

@Crystal_Fish_Caves I recall being able to see the gas lines from our second story windows. I was so grateful to live where I could take the bus to college and ride my bike to work. Maybe this horrible disruption will mean more people will see there are benefits to alternative modes of transportation.
