@Lironah In Canada, I can get flax seed from the grocery store, sold as Bob's Red Mill.

@Lironah I can also get a store branded one. You must need better grocery stores.
I can also get it from the place where I buy wheat to sprout for the cats. Try looking for mail order sources of seeds for sprouting.
