Will we ever be off fossil fuels? Should we be?

Is ditching oil the only way to save the planet? Not entirely, the science says, as long as the world hits carbon-neutral by 2050. The CBC's Johanna Wagstaffe breaks down what "net-zero" actually looks like and whether a sustainable future can function with oil still in the mix.

She hits the nail on the head when she points out that the science is indisputable that we must, and to do so we must leave large amounts of coal, gas, and oil in the ground... so answering the question is more about our own choices and priorities, than science.
