    Braid: Is the UCP still a pro-Canada party? They might take a vote on it

    Canada may finally be at the point where a reminder must be issued to political parties that they and its members are not above the law.

    UCP President Rob Smith apparently laid out plans to convert the UCP to a separatist party. While open discourse is certainly a factor to a healthy and functioning democracy, I think the UCP will become a test case for Canada in terms of whether a political party may be compromised.

      @runsmooth

      All it takes for a Canadian party to become separatist is for a bunch of separatists to get organized and buy enough membership in that party to take it over. Best done stealthily so nobody sees it happening till it's done.
