I have nothing good to say about Anthropic just like I have nothing good to say about Muskrat during his spat with the orange man, or any of the orange man's associates when he turns on them.

I have zero good things to say about them. If I hated OpenAI more than Google, I hate Anthropic more than OpenAI.
I would like to take a minor exception to the hate on Sam here, just for a moment. He said he rejects the Pentagon because they want (among other things) blanket surveillance. You and I know everything given to OpenAI goes straight to ICE, but, be fair, it is ONLY if you CHOOSE to use such an absurd product. By choosing, you consent. Pentagon says fuck consent.
So I want to give points to Sam for at least drawing the line at consent. Otherwise I think he is an idiot, but being where he is made him that way.
In other news, Canada says Sam's rules are fine with them. Such as shame Sam's AI isn't actually intelligent, but small mercies nonetheless.

Anthropic knowingly partnered with the pentagon. Their other partner, Palantir, is probably the most evil tech company in the world, which, among other things, powers the ICE abductions of members of our communities. I can go on and on.
@timnitGebru yes

@timnitGebru that's right: two people can be wrong at the same time

@timnitGebru Yeah. Seeing all these folks applauding their "moral stance" makes me throw up a little in my mouth.
@GeePawHill @timnitGebru it feels like marketing. It'll resolve itself before anything bad happens.
Edit: anything "bad" happens to Anthropic as a business.

@mayintoronto @GeePawHill @timnitGebru I think possibly a few bad things might have happened

Please keep sharing things like this it helps others argue why these companies and others cannot be trusted.
