    Rumour is that something's going down tomorrow to draw Belarus into the war.

    I'm very sceptical of all these sorts of things, but even if it happens the danger is less from their military — it's tiny, ancient, under equipped, and no serious threat — but rather from 1) enabling Russia to use their territory again to expand the front, and, 2) Russia having fed them nuclear weapons, presumably to deter Polish involvement.

      @rhys there were a lot better opportunities earlier in the war for Belarus to join, or for the Russians to go through their territory again
