I have to say, there's just something about someone saying goodnight to the Internet that demands to be acknowledged. You or anyone else, Fedi or anywhere else. Doesn't matter. Acknowledgement is expected upon seeing it the same night, and I don't want to be rude. Judging by those numbers you just threw out there, I'm far from the only person who looks at it that way.

@alice That always seems to be the way. Like, back in october of last year I spent a couple days making a video, and the middle of it I posted a funny GIF of a glitch I encountered while making it.

That video mostly flopped. That GIF is now up to 41k notes on tumblr, last reblogged a couple hours ago.

The length of the post kept me from reading it, not because it wouldn't interest me, but because I'm picking up my daughter from work so can't commit to more than a quick browse of the tl.
