Curiously, #Canada happens to be relatively good at transit and electric buses and reducing infrastructure costs could present a real opportunity.
The charging standard also works for trucks, which our bus manufacturers have dabbled in.

@paige I miss the magical electric Monk bus. They’re doing some good stuff in London with electric buses and even battery trains which charge up at the termini stations.

@paige Halifax Transit is loving having their fleet of 60 electric buses even more now that diesel is far over $2 a litre (Currently $2.20/litre).
Theyre already talking about getting another 15 BEV buses, and another 15 articulated models to replace our aging LFS Artics.
It will be interesting to see if they stick with NovaBus or if NFI can come come out on top this time around.
