And that is why I keep DuckDuckGo at the ready. I can't tell you how many times I've found what I need there after coming up empty handed with Google.

Sometimes, I'm getting Google results that don't even mention my search term.

Your post convinced me to move away from Google, but I still need to find a new search engine.

I have a horrible feeling that business schools will be using this as an example of a successful strategy. It's like suggesting aircraft manufacturers ignore safety concerns because every one that falls out of the sky is a business opportunity. Oh.

Plus it de-lists entries that are older than 5-7 years.

You can check that on a(ny) older/continuing forum, i.e. the same server, even the same board/thread. Older entries are de-listed from the search index.
