    Worth repeating.

The Iranian warship that was sunk by a torpedo was returning from a joint exercise the U.S. pulled out of on the last moment.

Per protocol joining ships were unarmed. Ships had no option for defence. The U.S. knew.

The U.S. sank the ship and offered no help to the survivors.

#EU is this what we want to part of? Murder, also on murderers, remains murder.

    "So much winning"?

Very truthful communication of former Indian foreign minister Kanwal Sibal.

Iran warship sunk by the US was on way back from exhibition hosted by India

The sinking ignited a significant debate within India regarding maritime security in the strategically vital Indian Ocean

@spdrnl If this is true, an unambiguous war crime. Yes, soldiers are legitimate targets, but only if they are in a combat posture. Already soldiers on leave are protected by IHL.

@gimulnautti The lawlessness, together with #AI and #surveillance type of warfare Israel developed during the genocide of Gaza presents very serious dangers.

It has all the hallmarks of global thuggery.

@spdrnl if the US knew this, then the operation was purely for show. Listening to US leadership talking about this war sounds like the bragging of high school bullies.

Didn't know about this until i searched for relevant ww2 uboat newspapers.

Thought i would find one saying how evil the nazi uboats were for not rescueing survivors. I knew early in the war they would get all the sailors off before sinking merchant ships.
