I often agree with Robert Reich, but not this time. Trump is a wholly US creation; a product of a national glorification of greed, selfishness, and ego all disguised as some sort of conquering hero.

So, USians: You made him, you elected him, and he is your responsibility. His actions absolutely reflect on you, and he is your responsibility to deal with.

Get rid of him. Now. And then we can talk about being friends again.

Dear allies of America, please don’t confuse our president with us | Robert Reich

We are trying our best to resist him, contain him and remove him from office as quickly as we possibly can. Thank you for your patience

@fgraver there is a recent clip where (Canadian) Ali Velshi is explaining this US/Canada divide to The Daily Show's Jon Stewart.

He highlights the voting gap by noting that a third of the people did not participate in the election and were therefore relatively supportive of Trump. This isn't some 50/50 coin toss divide, two thirds of Americans were totally fine this outcome just 15 months ago. You can actually see a moment when Jon Stewart's face changed as he finally got this.

But I don't think most USians "get it" yet.

From bordertown businesses all the way up to politicians like Reich. People still think this is just some misunderstanding that needs an apology.

We're not here because some of you don't like us, that's always been true. We're here because most of you don't support us, and we have the receipts.

We're not a small apology away here, this needs real concrete action.
