Last week I bought myself a new chef's knife and I'm so happy with it. Super sharp, nice grip, well balanced, and perfect length for me.
To my delight it was on sale, so I went back the next day and bought another one as a back up.
Buying good quality knives, pot and pans, small appliances for your kitchen is not frivolous.
They are tools for an activity many of us do 3X a day. I will get more use from my new knife then I ever will from my new drill or old hammer.
    Invest in your kitchen!
    You're worth it!
