      @dyckron

      why do they say it's "burn-out" when someone comes to their senses and walks away from a toxic industrial environment? I should think it shows a flame has kindled!

      Folks I know, including myself, can work astounding long hours at something they love, even if it doesn't pay, even if it will likely "be useful as a bad example", but because it is important to them.

      HR is all about quelling this and replacing it with their manufactured version. Ashby's Law says that this can't work, and it doesn't 🤣
