    Hot take: I think the Canadian federal opposition parties would secretly appreciate a Liberal majority right now, so that they could make the symbolic gesture of voting against PM Carney's bills without risking triggering an election.

    They're currently letting nearly half of the bills pass "by division," where no official opposition party asks for a vote. That lets them try to spin a story that they didn't vote for the legislation. 🙄
