    “due to bad experiences, I don’t work with scammers. I don’t want scammers to contact me.”

    “but how do you know they’re scammers? what if the scammer does good work?”

    every #foss discussion right now.

      @hbons don’t forget the side conversations of, “wow the purity testing of not wanting to associate with people who work with scammers is getting out of hand” and my personal favorite, “the anti-scammer crowd is more annoying than the pro scammer crowd”

        @hbons But scammers are the future! You don't want to be left behind, do you?

          Look, I personally get along great with the scammer, so you just need to get over it.

            @danirabbit “you should judge the scammer on the quality of their work!”

              @cholling @hbons

              Fact is, scammers are here and they're not going away.

              You have to learn to work with them, that's just how it is.

                @hbons

                "Look, I only took to scamming part time, but I found it really accelerated my ability to feel powerful, like I accomplished something to boost my own ego without actually accomplishing anything except wasting other people's time. So, clearly you are the asshole if you don't let me scam you so I can continue to feel powerful and waste your time."
