      Investor-State Dispute Settlements are one of the great evils of our time, locking in corporate power over national sovereignty, and I worry that a lot of the great new trade deals Carney is signing include even more of them.

          @hamishb Agreed ISDS really are one of the great evils of our time, smoothing the transition from govs mattering at all, aside from as doormen for corps, to us being ruled by corps directly.
          Canadian mining corps also make use of ISDS regs, my favourite being the one that registered as a corp in the US in order to sue Canada.
