I do think banning schools or certain apps in schools makes far more sense than requiring everybody to provide ID to access any part of the Internet (aka age verification).

Ontario Education Minister Paul Calandra says the province will be working closely with the federal government on a social media ban for kids under a certain age. He also says he is considering implementing a near-total ban of cellphones on school properties, with some medical exemptions.
