Judge elected officials by their actions, especially when those actions are in direct contrast to their previous statements (whether verbal or written).

Judge elected officials by their actions, especially when those actions are in direct contrast to their previous statements (whether verbal or written).
It's easy to promise to do something, or to say you care, because lying is a low effort activity but your actions will reveal what you truly believe.
