@mayintoronto Um maybe? I know embarrassingly little about proper terminology here. Or how the Senate really works. This will be exciting.

@jfmezei I honestly don't know how it works at all. But I was asked if I was ok with being recorded and having the recorded posted later, so maybe it'll be available at a later date?

@sundogplanets Are you presenting at a committee? or just adhoc groiup of senators? Normally, committee hearings, unless "in camera" would be on ParlVU streaming (and recorded).

I have gotten to the point now with public speaking that I don't get nervous before talks anymore (I never thought that would happen)

But this is pretty different from anything I've ever done before! Wish me just the right mix of academic training and anger and rural Sask to convey the many huge problems caused by unrestricted commercialization in orbit

@sundogplanets @jfmezei Hansard publishes the written transcript and a video is also available at some point.

Well, that was awesome. Senators and MPs and their staffers, learning about space debris and satellite pollution from 3 Canadian professors. I hope it makes some difference in saving the night sky (and the atmosphere, and being able to continue using Low Earth Orbit...)

Thank you @Paulatics for making it happen!

This is great! Finally you’re reaching people who could do something internationally. Let’s hope the momentum continues to build. ✊

@sundogplanets @Paulatics well done, and thank you from the Eastern edge of the Atlantic. If you can get your government to listen perhaps others might too! Think Global, Act Local comes to mind.

@sundogplanets You were so fantastic. That was such a great panel. I think I may have to find a way to turn the first half, at least, into a podcast, just so people can hear it. Alberta (way way) Out of Bounds?
