Like many connected with @mstdn.ca, I'm concerned about unproven news reports about Inglewood Community League and their former treasurer - who also runs this instance.

Justice needs to run his course. Rather than abandoning this instance over allegations rather then what is proven impropriety, I'm staying here for now.

But mstdn.ca is vulnerable - as others have said its too centralised. I'm backing up my lists of followers, so if I have to start afresh, I can import these lists into a new account on a fresh instance.

If there is impropriety the solution is not abandoning the instance but changing it's management.

Right now we do not know what is going on behind the scenes, something nefarious, OR appropriate steps being taken.

Waiting for now as well, but prepared.

@NovaNaturalist I know it would have made for a spicy SOTI, but the meeting for tonight shouldn’t have been cancelled. Here was an opportunity to alleviate some of our concerns and then deliver an update on the instance’s health. That action alone would have held me back longer.
